Nuance and PDF/A By joining the PDF/A Competence Center, Nuance is emphasizing its commitment to developing new technology standards. PDF/A is used for the long-term archiving of scanned and converted documents and is currently generating a great deal of interest in the market. The company view of document creation and archiving as a long-term market, Nuance has therefore decided to become a member of the association. Nuance’s tPower PDFis an Adobe-Acrobat alternative tailored to everyday office requirements, such as creating, editing and converting PDF files and filling in forms.
