ISO is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 162 national standards bodies.
Through its members, the ISO brings together experts to share knowledge and develop voluntary, consensus-based, market relevant International Standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.
ISO’s Central Secretariat is located in Geneva, Switzerland.
The PDF Association became an ISO “Category A” liaison in 2009, with the right to distribute drafts of ISO standards to its members and contribute comments.
