Chicago, IL, May 7, 2015 At the Microsoft Ignite (conference) in Chicago today, Datalogics, the premier source for Adobe PDF and eBook technologies, announced the release of their PDF WebAPI Connected Service for Visual Studio. Connected Services are Microsofts method for integrating services directly within Visual Studio 2015. The Datalogics PDF WebAPI Connected Service enables developers to access a broad set of PDF manipulation capabilities such as filling and flattening PDF forms, adding images, adding headers and footers, and more.
Were excited to partner with Datalogics, said Steve Lasker, Program Manager, Visual Studio Cloud Platform Tools at Microsoft. Visual Studios new Add Connected Service makes it easy for developers to access and utilize services in a consistent manner. Datalogics gave great feedback as a third-party service provider; with Connected Services like Datalogics PDF WebAPI, developers have access to a broadening community of services.
Brandon Haugen, Product Manager Emerging PDF Technologies at Datalogics adds, Working with Microsoft has been great. Were excited that our PDF WebAPI is one of the first services made available for Visual Studio and exposing that functionality through Connected Services will make it much more accessible to developers.
