ISO's PDF/UA specification, the standard for accessible PDF, has been adopted as a American National Standard, and is now available directly from AIIM, a Partner Organization of the PDF Association, at a cost of USD $15.
The only differences between the ANSI/AIIM/ISO document and the original ISO specification are the name and the cover-page. All normative provisions in ANSI/AIIM/ISO 14289 use precisely the same text as in the most recent 2014 edition of ISO 14289.
The new document conforms to PDF/UA.
In support of AIIM's Standards Program, AIIM, ANSI /AIIM / ISO 14289 was converted to PDF/UA by NetCentric Technologies and verified by Accessibil-IT, both members of the PDF Association.
See AIIMs press-release.
